Social Media

In our planning for this archive’s creation, we found it important to find a way to archive some of the ephemeral energy and “unscripted” moments from the conference. To achieve this, we combed through Twitter and collected what conference attendees had to offer under the hashtag #femrhet2019. We also created and collected our own live social media coverage throughout the conference on Instagram. Below are links to those curated accounts (and an additional link to our Feminists of the Conference exhibit).

Leading up to the conference, Social Media Director and graduate student Becca Evans created a variety of posts for the conference Twitter (FemRhet2019), Instagram (femrhet) and Facebook (@FemRhet2019). The chart below contains examples from those accounts.
